Roohi Siddiqui, a distinguished member of our community, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Urdu Writers Society of North America. With a Bachelor of Arts and a Master's degree in Library Science, Roohi has a solid academic foundation. Her professional journey began with elementary school teaching in Pakistan, where she nurtured young minds and instilled a love for learning.
Roohi is happily married to Rashid Siddiqui, and together they have been blessed with two wonderful children and two granddaughters, MashAllah. Her family is her pride and joy, and she cherishes the moments spent with them.
An avid reader, Roohi's love for books and poetry is evident in her extensive collection and her ability to weave words beautifully. Her creative talents extend to event planning and flower making and arranging, where she excels in creating memorable experiences and stunning floral displays. Roohi's adventurous spirit takes her traveling, hiking, and walking, always seeking new experiences and appreciating nature's beauty. Above all, she values spending quality time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories.
Roohi joined the Urdu Writers Society of North America to contribute to the promotion of the Urdu language in the USA. She feels a deep connection with the Society's mission and is inspired by the dedication and devotion of its members to celebrate and propagate this beautiful language.
